A lovley day with Libby Smith learning the basics of Kantha. I am really hooked! Progress made was quite slow in the class as most of the girls are patchworkers and not embroiderers. Libby also brought some of her dolls and shoes for us to have a look at. We will have to book another workshop with her next year.
Beau's operation went well, but it is going to be very difficult to keep him quite for 10 days. I missed the EG committee meeting last night as I had to sit with the dog, as Howard was working. Today he seems fine and back to normal.
Tomorrow I am going to the Masterchef Live show in London on a school trip. It used to be called the Good Food Show. I have been before and it was excellent, lets hope I get lots of ideas for Christmas.
I have been dropping heavy hints about a camera for Christmas, but I think I will have to get it early as we are going to Berlin, the first weekend in December and I know that I will want to take lots of photos.
Goodness, what is Kantha? How exciting. I am living vicariously through people's workshops at the moment. I shall have to book something in the new year. Crochet I think.
