UFO's

Today, I had a big clear up in my sewing room. I have far too many projects, patchwork and embroidery that need completing. Many of them can be finished in an afternoon, so I have decided to join in with the 2012 UFO challenge. You have until the end of December to sign up, if you are interested.

Here is my list:

1: Reversible Quilt: Complete binding
2: Embellished Quilt: Include a border, quilt and add binding
3: Curve Appeal Bag: Add lining and handles
4: Handmade books: Assemble books made (3)
5: Ploughed Fields: Complete binding
6: Scrappy Quilt: Quilt and add binding
7: Through the Tree’s: Finish binding trees and add free machine embroidery to create an autumn scene.
8: Quilter’s Journey Blocks: Complete all nine blocks
9: Quilting Tote: Assemble all pieces, line bag and attach handles
10: Japanese Bag: Complete
11: Christmas trees: Complete
12: Christmas wall hanging & heart wreath: Complete projects

I am also going to take part in the 2012 Calendar Journal run by Kate Crane. Last year Sharne took part in this challenge and created a wonderful journal. Next year I will be celebrating a special birthday and so I thought it would be a great way of recording the year. Today, I covered January's pages with Gesso, tomorrow I will paint the pages and start to add the days of the month.

This year I have not written in my blog very often. I have been creating, but often forget to take photos, or just don't seem to have the time to create the blog. Also a lot of my time has been spent working on my Material Girl's projects that I can't show as they are for an exibition in February 2012.

I hope to improve on my efforts during 2011 and to share my creativity more next year. I have enjoyed reading all the blogs and seeing some very inspiration work and building friendships in many different parts of the world.
