January's UFO: Ploughed Fields

This small wall hanging was started at a workshop with the Ladybugs patchwork group. The workshop was run by Nickie and I'm sure is was about four years ago. I loved the techniques used and came home and carried on working on my piece. I even dyed some fabric for the binding and had a go at stitching on a continuous binding for the first time. It has then stayed at this stage for years, but I can now say that I have finished it. Sorry about the quality of the picture.

  1. Was it only 4 years? That's the first time Sheila and I came to Ladybugs.

  3. Thank you for visiting my blog! I came over to visit and your blog looks really interesting so I think I'll stay and follow you:) I especially like your calendar pages but I don't quite understand them. Do you add to the month everyday or how does it work? Please excuse my ignorance - I'm really more of a stitcher :)

I also really like the calendar challenge - it looks so interesting and I'm sure I shall be popping back to visit you to see how it's all going!

  6. Diane--Love your Ploughed Fields! Landscape quilts have always intrigued me. Someday hope to make a fabric journal or handmade book. Thank you for your comments about the Flying Geese. They were very easy to make, a little time consuming but worth well the effort. Nancie
