Wonderful day teaching!

Today I held a workshop at school (during school holidays) for my GCSE textile students to attend and try to complete their work before the deadline of Friday 26th February. The majority of them turned up and we had a really lovely day sewing (9am til 2pm)! One hour lessons just aren't long enough to really achieve anything. Most of the students are becoming quite independent and are really pleased with their work. It was a slow and difficult start to the project, but I have to say I am very proud of them. I will post some pictures of their work once completed and marked.

I help in all the textile GCSE classes at school.
I'm the art and design technician but I'm more a teaching assistant as our school has no textile trained teacher.
