Good News!

Today, when we visited my dad in hospital, we were told that they are hoping to send him home tomorrow! After 11 weeks in Broomfield it will be lovely to have him home. They are going to stop feeding him by the tube in his stomach, as he ate well on his home visits last week. They will leave the tube in for a while, just in case. Last Monday he was so confused, we really thought he had the start of dementia. I cannot believe how he has changed since his first home visit last Wednesday. I am still going to need to support my parents a great deal, but it should be easier not being tied to visiting times.

More time for sewing, so no excuses now for not completing the Round Robin challenge. Procion dyes arrived today, so going to have a play tomorrow, to try and create the correct colour for my work.
