The idea of giving up work was to organise my life more and to have time to enjoy myself. So far, I have made good progress. I have started going to the gym regularly, having joined in February and previously been too busy to go. I went to my first Zumba class on Monday, it is supposed to be a great calorie burner. It was great fun and I will be going again. The classes get booked up quickly so I will have to make sure I get my name on the list each week.
I have started to re-design the planting in my garden to make it more interesting during the winter months and to also make it easier to manage. Much as I love gardening, I don't want it to control my life, something it used to do.
This week I have caught up with all my paper work and all bills have been paid, and banking completed.
I have also completed more blocks for the Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt, the group are on week 9, so I should have completed 18 blocks, so only 3 behind now. Hopefully I will catch up over the next two
Looks good. Oh to have all that time..... I'd only waste it. Much better off here!
ReplyDeleteWell done for organising your life! The blocks are looking good- I look forward to seeing them finished.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued. I have no idea what people do in a Zumba class but yesterday I took part in an hour of disco dancing with my grandchildren, is that similar?
ReplyDeleteYou're obviously having a good time!
