Jelly Roll Quilt

At Ladybug Quilter's the majority of the group have decided to have a go at making the Jelly Roll 1600 Quilt from Heirloom Creations blog. Today I have joined together the whole jelly roll, picking pieces at random, but trying to mix the colours (this make one long piece 1,600" long). At our next meeting we are going to join the quilt top together, the fastest recorded time so far is 35 minutes. We have a whole morning, so no real panic! Pictures to follow on Wednesday.  I'm using a jelly roll from Moda, called "All you need is Love" by Deb Strain, the colours are pink, red, green, brown and cream. Not really my colours and not sure why I purchased it in the first place, but it will make a nice snuggle quilt (48"x 64") for cold summer nights.
