End of Unit Test

I hope that I have sorted out the problem with my camera, so hopefully I will be able to start loading some photos onto my blog.

I have been marking Yr 8's end of unit textile paper. Here are a few funny answers, with their spellings

Q. Why do we use pins? A. As a pin bag

Q. Why do we use embroidery scissors?

A. To cut off bits we don't need

A To cut Fred (poor guy)

A To cut little Fred

Q. Why is it important to use plenty of string and to bind it tightly around the fabric when tie dying?

A. So it gives the coluer of the technike

A. It is important to do it tightly so that it comes out drastically

A. So that when it is finished it does not all fall apart

A. So it dosn't open itself up

Q. Give reasons why hand embroidery is used in textile projects?

A. So you now how to do it when you are old (sorry girls, we had all better stop sewing until we are old)

A. So you can learn how hard it is.

A. Because you can't sew wood together

A. Why would you hand sew somethink in fog

Not sure what the student was thinking who gave the last two answers.

I was actually quite pleased with the majority of the exam results!
