Today, we took Beau on his first Great Dane walk, in Hylands Park Chelmsford. He had a fantastic time and really enjoyed playing with all the other dogs. Quite a few of them were 6 months old, have a look at the difference in size in the photos. We didn't follow the route Bilbo used to go on as they are setting up for the V festival next weekend. I have been to this park so many times and it is great to find a different walk. Beau loved it in the wooded area and had his first experience of gettting his feet wet in the stream. They are going to try and organise a walk once a month, which will help with his socalising and hopefully delay Howard wanting to get another dog. It was lovely to see so many large dogs (about 20) all playing nicely with plenty of space and not having to be on a lead.
