After far too long, I finally got out my book and fabric and started to make more blocks on this quilt. There are 111 blocks in the finished quilt, I have now made 18 and have 8 more cut out, ready to stitch. I have almost finished all the blocks that can be made using rotary cutting and so I will have to start using templates, this will be a new technique for me. When piecing today I tried Mettler Cotton No 60 and the blue/yellow pins from Clover. Both of these products are very fine and made the stitching much easier. I can highly recommend both of these products and will definetely be using them again.
