Half way there!
There are so many great challenges to join when you read different blogs. It is an inexpensive and fun way to try new ideas out, make friends and get creative. The Calendar Challenge set up by Kate Crane is now half way through and the majority of members are still taking part. Each month there are some amazing journal pages to look at and new techniques to learn from others.
This month I tried a method used by Sharne last month, where gesso was added after the colour to the pages. However, I obviously didn't do it right as the colour didn't really show afterwards. So then I sprayed the pages with Craftynotion sprays and stamped flowers with acrylic paint and pads. The colour scheme chosen represents the main colours found in my garden at the moment. Hopefully July will be hot and sunny and my garden will be full of flowers.
