This month I have not only managed to complete my UFO, but I finished another one and worked on two more.
This is the bag that I had to finish this month, it is a great size for holidays and taking to craft shows. I have seen in made in several different themes of fabric, the original pattern using Japanese.
I also managed to complete this bag, which has been a UFO for quite a few years. The front is heavily embellisehed with beads, buttons, decorative threads and yarns, whilst the back is plain with a large pocket, for easy access. This will be a fun bag to take on holiday this month.
I have also continued to work on last month's UFO, the quilt "Journey of a Quilter". There are 9 blocks in total, the embroidery is now complete on 7 of them. I now need to stitch on, six applique hearts on to two of them and finish the embroidery on the last two.
On top of this I also added two borders to a small quilt started at Quilters Haven with Sally Holman. It is now ready to quilt and embellish on the month it is chosen as mu UFO. Luckily it is the UFO chosen for May. Finger's crossed I get time to work on it this month as I am away rather alot on holiday.
Your purses are very pretty. I especially love the last one because those ARE MY colors!! What kind of closure is at the top of them? Pattern name? Thanks for sharing. Have fun on your holiday.
