Octopus exhibition

Today I went along to the textile exhibition by the group known as Octopus. It is being held in the Maeldune Centre in Maldon, Essex until 7th August. There was a great variety of skills used to produce some really wonderful work, so if you haven't been yet, I can highly recommend it. It was lovely to see work from several members of my Embroiderers' Guild branch, as we usually have lecture's at our meetings and so don't get to see much of the members work. There are also several lovely cafes near by plus they are having their carnival next Saturday.
