I have finally tidied up my workroom, it is surprising what you find (some black chiffon scarves for one thing, I really needed them last week). It now needs a really good clean and some labels put onto all of the boxes. I would also like to buy a plastic coated table, so there will be a trip to Mackro tomorrow. I build a flat pack table on my own today from Ikea (approx 1m square), the instructions were easy to follow, as they were all in pictorial form. I now have somewhere so store some files and some where to put my A3 cutting board. There is still some throwing out needed, as my room is above the garage and it became a storage area. Nothing has been touched or used in a couple of years, so in my view in can all go in the bin or to the charity shop. Why do we hoard so much rubbish? Not sure if I should be going to the NEC Quilt show or the Knitting and Stitching show as I do not need anymore stuff. I will just go for the enjoyment and to get some inspiration!
I now need to start on the house, it really does need a spring clean, again!
lucky you having a work room, so glad you enjoyed the book and thanks for the good wishes!
ReplyDeleteYou weren't supposed to be counting.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are geting on top of your sorting out, I have been doing some sorting too. I have managed to fill 2 bags for the charity collectors so far.
I am afraid I can't resist a bargain. You never know when someone will need beads in those colours. In fact some of them could be going on the RRC vessel when it arrives.
