School Work

Today, I have spent the morning, creating an outline for the GCSE Product Design that I am in charge of next year. It is the first time that I will be lead teacher of a class at this level. I have been heavily involved during the last two years with GCSE Textiles and have planned all my own lessons, but without the pressure. However, this is a new subject and I want to make sure that I get the balance right between theory and practical.I got my students to evaluate the positive and negative parts of their GCSE course and I hope to take these points on board to improve my teaching. I will be sharing this class with another teacher as I only work two days a week, we are meeting up tonight for dinner and to finalise which areas we are going to teach. Then I just need to type up the scheme of work and organise some worksheets. We also have a new member of staff joining us, who will also be teaching this subject to a different class. Hopefully we will have a really good brain storming session.

Beau is now 11 weeks old and is getting bigger everday! He has had all of his injections now and so had two little friends round to play. After a nervous start, they all played really well. As for walking on a lead, he is having none of that.
